  • Leírás: Jane Eyre, an orphan girl (Christina Sylva) is employed to teach the young daughter of a wealthy man (Manos Katrakos). A romance blossoms between the two, but their love is made impossible by the presence of his frenetic wife (Elektra Papathanasiou), who lives locked up in the house. In an effort to escape this dead-end situation, Jane departs from the house and seeks refuge with Father Petros (Stavros Christoforidis). She inherits her father’s fortune and returns to find the man she loves, only to discover he has lost his sight and his home in a fire ignited by his mad wife. The story is based, with a number of alterations, on the novel of the same name by Charlotte Bronté.
